People in a hospital are really sick. They need medicine. They also need medicine for the soul. There is much loneliness during a hospital stay. All healthcare workers know that to heal the soul helps to heal the body. They work together to bring the patient home to family as quickly as possible. Medicine for the body and medicine for the soul.

What will I be doing?
We help in fulfilling Pope Francis’ call to evangelize!
We meet all kinds of people. Each visit is a new encounter.
We never walk into a hospital room alone. It is a wonderful feeling to be able to bring Holy Communion to those in need.
We offer a listening ear and a compassionate heart.
Volunteers hear patients’ stories and offer HOPE. How?
We bring Community.
For those who can only watch Mass on TV, we help to complete the Eucharistic celebration by bringing Communion.
Those patients close to God, those alienated from God, all need the presence of Christ in their lives.

Serving those in Need
Hospital Ministers care for those who need medicine for their body and for their soul. Visiting patients enables us to practice one of the Corporal Works of Mercy. Please consider signing up to bring Holy Communion to the sick.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_message icon_fontawesome=”fa fa-quote-left”]‘Then the righteous will answer him and say, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you drink? When did we see you a stranger and welcome you, or naked and clothe you? When did we see you ill or in prison, and visit you?’ And the king will say to them in reply, ‘Amen, I say to you, whatever you did for one of these least brothers of mine, you did for me.’ Matthew 25:37-40[/vc_message][/vc_column][/vc_row]
