Academy Day lets students become familiar with new campus

 
Students from St. Leo the Great, St. Cecilia and St. Philip of Jesus Schools came together for a Good Shepherd Catholic Academy Day to learn more about the new Good Shepherd Catholic Academy.

SAN ANTONIO • St. Leo the Great School Principal Carol Johnson recently gave a summary of what had happened on Good Shepherd Catholic Academy Day, which was actually spread out over three days. Fifth through seventh grade students came on March 5, students from 5K through first grade visited March 6 and the third group of 4K as well as second through fourth grade students arrived on March 7. Other events are planned involving students from St. Leo the Great, St. Cecilia and St. Philip of Jesus Schools.
 
Johnson said, “A history of the former St. John Seminary was given. There also was discussion about some of the resources that will be available at the new school which is now St. Leo, (wireless internet throughout school, two computer labs, large library, etc).
