New official assignments announced

 

At the recommendation of Auxiliary Bishop Thomas Flanagan, Father Jimmy Drennan and the Priests’ Personnel Board, Archbishop Patrick F. Flores announces the following appointments:

New pastors
All effective June 1 for a period of six years
• Father Jaime de Jesús Díaz as pastor of St. Phillip Benizi Church in Poteet.
• Father Wojciech Reisch as pastor of Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church in Panna Maria.
• Father Oscar Hernandez as pastor of St. Timothy Church in San Antonio.

Pastor re-appointments
All effective June 1 for a period of six years
• Father Stuart E. Juleen as pastor of St. John the Evangelist Church in San Antonio.
• Msgr. Michael Yarbrough as pastor of St. Matthew Church in San Antonio.
• Father Leslie Vance as pastor of St. Brigid Church in San Antonio.
• Father Samuel Heitkamp as pastor of St. Joan of Arc Church in San Antonio.
• Msgr. Pablo Sicilia as pastor of St. Joseph Church in Dilley.
• Msgr. Marvin Doerfler as pastor of St. Thomas More Church in Canyon Lake.
• Father Michael DeGerolami as pastor of St. Philip of Jesus Church in San Antonio.

Special assignments
• Father Arturo Cepeda as vocation director for the Archdiocese of San Antonio for a period of three years, effective April 1.
• Father Michael Boulette as spiritual director for St. Peter Upon the Water Spiritual Direction Center, a new spiritual formation program, that he will be developing for a period of three years, effective June 1.

Assignments extended for an indefinite period
• Father Carlos Dávalos as pastor of St. Andrew Parish in Pleasanton.
• Msgr. Michael O’Gorman as pastor of St. Gregory the Great Parish in San Antonio.
• Father José de la Rosa as pastor of St. Vincent de Paul Parish in San Antonio.
• Msgr. Roger Robbins as pastor of Good Shepherd Parish in Schertz.
• Father William McNamara as pastor of St. Anthony Parish in Elmendorf.
